Hey guys! WHATSUUUPP?!?!?! Guess what?! I’m in Japan! It’s sooooooo different to home! Gosh! I’ve been busy! Finally finding the time and the energy (heavily jet lagged) so give you an update. Anyways. As I was saying, it is literally ludacris here. And they LOVE they’re healthy foods; there’s green tea liqueur, green tea ice cream, green tea yoghurt. Damn. No wonder they’re all so skinny. Which they truly are. In the UK I’m considered skinny/normal. Here I’m VERY curvylicious! Oh well…I guess they can tell by my face that I ain’t from Asia…obviously! Anyhow. As soon as we arrived we took the train to Kyoto. Lovely “little” city in Japan. It only has 1.5 million inhabitants and yes, it is considered “little”. Which is huge to me as the capital of Norway inhabits roughly 500 000 people! But oh well! Here’s a picture spread of my couple of days…..

It’s so unique and different here. Today we visited the Hiroshima Memorial Museum & Park. Fantastic place! The Japanese are extremely accurate and efficient! I’m very impressed! Tomorrow we’re leaving Kyoto to go and stay at one of the Onsen Towns here in Japan. This is a sort of SPA place with hot springs. I’m very excited! Hope you guys are having an awesome time back at home!

Hey guys. How’s it going? No I haven’t suffered a silent (or loud) death. However, I HAVE been suffering from a lack of time due to the constant preparations before Japan. And by preparations I mean spending a week with my boyfriend before I leave, packing, moving, sorting out visa etc. Boring stuff, apart from the spending time with my boyfriend though! He’s going to Canada whilst I’ll be in Tokyo. Why did we ever make THAT stupid decision? Why couldn’t we first go TOGETHER to Tokyo and then to Canada. Argh. I hate stupid me. Tomorrow I’m leaving for Tokyo to embark on yet another adventure in my life! I’ve already sorted out a room (with a walk in closet!!!!) I’m eeeexxxcccciiiitttteeeedddd! Anyhow. On the verge of passing out now! Have a good one lovelies!

GOOOOD MORNING! Or afternoon or whatever! GOD! I have ben superduperbusy! Since we last spoke I have ended my placement with IMS Health, had several nights out, packed and now I’m in Norway for a week! A week! I mean seriously?! I haven’t seen my friends and everybody since forever, but it’s all the time I have. So ever since I came back yesterday I have been seeing friends & family non stop! It’s going to be like this until next wednesday when I go to London yet again to see the Proms and some other things. Then I will return to Norway again and then on the 24th of August I’m leaving for Tokyo! Gosh! Busy times! Anyways. I’m in a rush now, I have a friend coming over and I’m supposed to cook for her. Haven’t started yet! Anyways. These photos were taken a couple of weeks ago when the weather was impeccable in London. I hope you understand my lack of blogging! Have a lovely wednesday everything and don’t forget to watch the Olympics! Team GB is owning at the moment!

Good afternoon lovelies! How’s your week been so far? Good I hope. I’m just about wrapping up my placement as I’m finishing tomorrow. Ii’ll be a bit sad to leave this place after 6 months, but hey, I’m going to Tokyo in less than a month! Bejeeezus! I’m not sure if it’s really hit me just HOW much of a culture shock that is going to be. Oh well. I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Anyways. I’m wishing you soon a lovely weekend. Mine will consist of P.A.R.T.Y! Should be fun!

Baking.

Guys, guys, guys! I’ve taken up a newfound L.O.V.E. On Friday and Sunday night I baked brownies and yesterday I baked muffins. And both go very well with raspberries. Obviously. I couldn’t bake ANYTHING that did not go perfectly with my favorite type of berries now then could I? Anyways. My brownies recipe still needs to be perfected, however, I thought the raspberry muffins were so awesome so I wanted to share how i made them with you. Now. I’m not the measuring kind of girl, I look at the recipe and use my gut for the rest, but here’s approximately what you’ll need:

– 125 grams of butter
– 175 grams of sugar (approx 2 dl)
– 2 eggs
– 0,75 dl of milk
– 200 grams of flour
– 1.5 teaspoon of baking powder
– Fresh berries (I used raspberries)

Here’s what you do:

Firstly stir the butter until it becomes soft. Then add the sugar and blend that well. Add one egg at a time and whisk well between each egg you add. Mix flour and baking powder together and sieve half into the mix. Blend well. Then add the milk and sieve in the rest of the flour mix. Whisk until it is all properly mixed.

Then divide the dough between approx 12 muffin cases and add some raspberries in each. The cases should be about 3/4 when both the dough and the berries are in. Bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 175 degrees. You can check if the muffins are done if a match comes out clean from the middle of the muffin.

Good afternoon lovely people! I’m sorry for being so gone these days – I’m just so busy moving around, finishing placement, preparing for Tokyo and running! But soon it will all calm down. Well I say soon. I mean in over a months time when I will finally be settled in Tokyo. For the time being I don’t even have a place to come to, however I need to sort that out quickly! Ahhhh….things to do! Anyways. My boyfriend bought me these lovely earrings at a market we went to on Saturday. Isn’t he lovely? I’m just popping in to wish you a lovely Monday!

HEEELLLOOOO lovelies! I’m SO seriously sorry for the lacking of posts for the last three days. I think that’s the longest I’ve gone without updating you guys. EVER! Anyhow. I’ve been busy and I’ve been lacking in inspiration to pull together any blogworthy outfits as I’m living out of a suitcase. Oh well! I’m sure I’ll find inspiration again! Whilst I’ve been gone I have been running a lot – 35 km so far this week and I have another 10 km to go today! My legs are psycho stiff at the moment, but I’m determined to complete this weeks goal of 45 km! I have also been tanning a lot of the past couple of days as the weather has been SO summery here in London, ended now though, but I figured you have to benefit from it as long as it lasts! Tonight I’m going to bake brownies – my first dessert of the week! I’m excited! I wish you all a lovely weekend!

Let’s hit the road giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl! Haha! It’s Monday everybody and I’ve already complete the first workout of the week! It feels good and I’m happy! This weekend I moved from my place to my boyfriend’s place where I will stay for the next two (and last) weeks of my placement! I’m literally living out of the suitcase, but I’ll try my best to get some outfit shots soon! Also. The sun is up! It’s fantastic weather and it’s making my day! Later today I reckon I’ll do some sunbathing. Have a good day everybody!
