Hey guys! WHATSUUUPP?!?!?! Guess what?! I’m in Japan! It’s sooooooo different to home! Gosh! I’ve been busy! Finally finding the time and the energy (heavily jet lagged) so give you an update. Anyways. As I was saying, it is literally ludacris here. And they LOVE they’re healthy foods; there’s green tea liqueur, green tea ice cream, green tea yoghurt. Damn. No wonder they’re all so skinny. Which they truly are. In the UK I’m considered skinny/normal. Here I’m VERY curvylicious! Oh well…I guess they can tell by my face that I ain’t from Asia…obviously! Anyhow. As soon as we arrived we took the train to Kyoto. Lovely “little” city in Japan. It only has 1.5 million inhabitants and yes, it is considered “little”. Which is huge to me as the capital of Norway inhabits roughly 500 000 people! But oh well! Here’s a picture spread of my couple of days…..

It’s so unique and different here. Today we visited the Hiroshima Memorial Museum & Park. Fantastic place! The Japanese are extremely accurate and efficient! I’m very impressed! Tomorrow we’re leaving Kyoto to go and stay at one of the Onsen Towns here in Japan. This is a sort of SPA place with hot springs. I’m very excited! Hope you guys are having an awesome time back at home!

Guys, guys, guys! I’ve taken up a newfound L.O.V.E. On Friday and Sunday night I baked brownies and yesterday I baked muffins. And both go very well with raspberries. Obviously. I couldn’t bake ANYTHING that did not go perfectly with my favorite type of berries now then could I? Anyways. My brownies recipe still needs to be perfected, however, I thought the raspberry muffins were so awesome so I wanted to share how i made them with you. Now. I’m not the measuring kind of girl, I look at the recipe and use my gut for the rest, but here’s approximately what you’ll need:

– 125 grams of butter
– 175 grams of sugar (approx 2 dl)
– 2 eggs
– 0,75 dl of milk
– 200 grams of flour
– 1.5 teaspoon of baking powder
– Fresh berries (I used raspberries)

Here’s what you do:

Firstly stir the butter until it becomes soft. Then add the sugar and blend that well. Add one egg at a time and whisk well between each egg you add. Mix flour and baking powder together and sieve half into the mix. Blend well. Then add the milk and sieve in the rest of the flour mix. Whisk until it is all properly mixed.

Then divide the dough between approx 12 muffin cases and add some raspberries in each. The cases should be about 3/4 when both the dough and the berries are in. Bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 175 degrees. You can check if the muffins are done if a match comes out clean from the middle of the muffin.

Eeeeenjoooyyyy!

Hey guys! I’ve just gotten back from the gym! So far I have run 27 km this week and I have 8 km left tomorrow to reach my weekly goal! Should be fine! Anyhow. For those who didn’t read yesterday I have made some lifestyle changes and I want to see what will happen. In Norway now there’s this huge fuzz about the Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) lifestyle so I thought I would try it out. Actually it became such a HUGE trend that Norway ran out of butter – literally! I remember I was in England and I thought it was H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S! Haha! Silly Norwegians, with the exception of me, Of Course! (I Hope!)

Anyways. Here’s my first meal as an LCHF’eeerrrr….I’m not such if it is so high on fat, but there ain’t no carbs in there!

I simply used: Salmon, Broccoli, Green Beans, Mascarpone Cheese & Lemon.

What I did was to simply oven bake the salmon, boil the vegetables, mix lemon with the mascarpone cheese (as a sauce) and that’s pretty much it! Oh and don’t forget to put some pepper and lemon on the salmon!

Good Morning lovelies! It’s Wednesday already! My favorite day of the week and already I’ve done 18 km on the treadmill and I’m ready for another session. I feel I have been a bit retarded lately. Do you remember the giveaway? I managed NOT to include the US or European sizing so the lucky winner, Essentjewels, did not fit the heels. How can I assume the entire world is British? I don’t know. But I just did. I’m so sorry for being such a retard and I hope you can forgive me!

Anyways you guys. I know that the start of July is a bit of a weird time to make lifestyle changes. However, I’ve decided to make one! From now on I am on a low card diet. For me this will mean no bread, rice, pasta, sugar and all of the other easy carbohydrates. I’ll tell you more about what you can & cannot eat on such a diet and include my first receipt tomorrow! Stay tuned! Have a good Tuesday!

Evening lovelies! I’ve been superbusy today so apologies for my late update! Anyways. Here’s some snaps from my lovely day yesterday with my Aunt, Uncle and Nigel! Me and my aunt started our day at the Selfridges sale (where I bought a underwear set for 7 pounds originally worth 100!), then we went to Harrods before we finally went to the Fleming’s hotel to collect our pre-booked picnic baskets! They were filled with lovely sandwiches, drinks, cream tea, desserts & more! L.O.V.E.L.Y! Then we went to Greenwich, had a look at the Cutty Sark but decided that the Observatory was faaaaaar to far away (and on a massive hill)! The night ended with cuban rhythms at Floridita! All in all a GREAT day! I’ll tell you more about today later. Now I’m exhausted and headed for bed! Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Wow! What a day I had yesterday! We first had an amazing late lunch at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. I even had Chocolate & Raspberry Fondant for dessert! Now that’s what I call a great lunch! Then we when to the Sir John Soane’s Museum. Which was a rather intriguing museum about an architect; his life & what he collected throughout his life! Then we took a boat bus from Little venice to Camden Market. That was another fantastic experience and a definite add to your “to do – list” for those of you are visiting London! The day ended with a walk along Brick Lane and a dinner at Mintleaf! All in all a fantastic day! Now I’m up early and going to the Selfridges Sale asap! Have a great day everybody!

Good Morning! Presenting to you the photos from the Cambridge Ball I attended and the stunning dress from Atelier-Mayer (I’m SO excited to hear what you guys think!). I’m sorry the photos are a bit dark, got a bit late before I was good to go! However, I reckon I will put this dress on more than once this summer for a casual stroll in the park! Anyways. Heading for the gym soon, but my current excitement is the lunch booked for Friday with my Aunt & Uncle at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. Looks amazing right?! I still haven’t figured out what on earth I will wear! It’ll probably be something girly with my new Louboutins! Anyways. I’m finding that I have an overload of outfits from Italy still so I’ll be sure to post a lot of those this week! Have fun everybody!

Psssttt…I know it looks like I have a lot of boob fat in this dress. It actually isn’t that bad in reality! Some dresses are horrific like that but this one is quite good!

Morning lovelies! Dinner last night at Mistral was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! We had the seven course taste menu cooked in a very unique way. It was molecular cooking! Anyone heard of that before?! Me neither. It tasted very good though and it is supposedly very healthy, despite two courses of dessert! This is a chef I like, he knows how prioritise his menu; more dessert! We even had ice cream prepared in front of us with nitrogen whisked into cream & vanilla! Delicious! Anyways. Today is unfortunately our last full day in these beautiful surroundings, however I’m sure we’ll return at some point! Today we are going to drive to Menaggio and see Villa La Gaeta, the James Bond Villa, which was used at the end of the Casino Royale. I L.O.V.E James Bond so I’m VERY excited to see it! Hope you’re still having a lovely weekend!

As I said earlier had an amazing weekend (as always!). After I went out on Friday I felt raaaather rough. As you do! However, it did improve when we went over to one of our mates houses to a cooked brunch with blueberry pancakes for dessert! L.O.V.E.L.Y! Then we spent the rest of the day walking around and ended up in Regent’s Park. In the evening I got takeaway Chinese from my favorite place Pearl Liang with my boyfriend. We watched some of the Eurovision song contest, not a lot, got easily bored and decided to watch 21 Jump Street instead. That was hilarious! Recommended! On Sunday Morning I ran the Race For Life 5 K in Hyde Park with one of my friends from work. Here are some snaps from the race….

{Before The Race}

{The Crowds – About 10 000 people}

{Runners guided towards the start}

{Running}

 {Finished!}

{Me & Kate after run}

After the run I went home, had a quick shower and went out again! Spent the rest of the day in the park! I’ll show you those photos later! If you live in London I would definitely recommend the race for life! Even if you don’t take it seriously it’s a lot of fun! Lots of love from me on this Monday! Now I’m going to lie down. And continue to lie until I feel refreshed!

Morning guys! I had an absolutely AWESOME dinner last night at Coq d’argent! It’s an awesome restaurant on one of the rooftops extremely close to Bank tube station. On a warm summer night, like the ones we are experiencing at the moment, that is the P.E.R.F.E.C.T place to have dinner! Trust me! Anyhow I’m so happy these days! The weather is fantastic, the weekend is approaching and I’m working out a lot outside. Speaking of, heading for the right now! Have fun in the sun everyone!
