HEEELLLOOOO lovelies! I’m SO seriously sorry for the lacking of posts for the last three days. I think that’s the longest I’ve gone without updating you guys. EVER! Anyhow. I’ve been busy and I’ve been lacking in inspiration to pull together any blogworthy outfits as I’m living out of a suitcase. Oh well! I’m sure I’ll find inspiration again! Whilst I’ve been gone I have been running a lot – 35 km so far this week and I have another 10 km to go today! My legs are psycho stiff at the moment, but I’m determined to complete this weeks goal of 45 km! I have also been tanning a lot of the past couple of days as the weather has been SO summery here in London, ended now though, but I figured you have to benefit from it as long as it lasts! Tonight I’m going to bake brownies – my first dessert of the week! I’m excited! I wish you all a lovely weekend!

Happy Monday Everybody! How was your weekend? My highlight occurred on Saturday, but more about that in a sec! The weekend started on Friday evening with a lovely family & friends dinner at Zizzi (for a chain it’s very good pizza!). Then on Saturday morning I went for a run in Hyde Park and took the train to Sevenoaks where we decided to go to Bluewater. My boyfriend’s family got 3 iPads and I got a two tops and a new pair of jeans! I felt a bit outdone shopping wise (rarely happens!), but oh well! On Sunday we went golfing and generally chilled. So yes. A L.O.V.E.L.Y weekend! Anyways. Back to the highlight on Saturday. So I was at London Bridge Station getting tickets to go to Sevenoaks when two lovely girls stopped me and told me they loved & read my blog! That put a huge smile on my face which lasted the entire weekend! You were the first to recognize me! I was stunned! Anyways. I just wanted to thank you readers who made my face go from….

….aka….not good…to

…better!

Anyways. I’m heading for the gym soon! Going for a big session today! Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning lovelies! It’s Wednesday already! My favorite day of the week and already I’ve done 18 km on the treadmill and I’m ready for another session. I feel I have been a bit retarded lately. Do you remember the giveaway? I managed NOT to include the US or European sizing so the lucky winner, Essentjewels, did not fit the heels. How can I assume the entire world is British? I don’t know. But I just did. I’m so sorry for being such a retard and I hope you can forgive me!

Anyways you guys. I know that the start of July is a bit of a weird time to make lifestyle changes. However, I’ve decided to make one! From now on I am on a low card diet. For me this will mean no bread, rice, pasta, sugar and all of the other easy carbohydrates. I’ll tell you more about what you can & cannot eat on such a diet and include my first receipt tomorrow! Stay tuned! Have a good Tuesday!

Me WANT a new bag soon! Seriously. My shoes vs bags ratio is horrendous. I need to straighten that out! I am seriously considering buying either 2,3 or 5. Which one do you think I should get? So it’s Wednesday today, my favorite day of the week, the sun is shining and I am going out for dinner after work! Does it get any better than that?! This weekend is reserved for chilling, my boyfriend and a couple of close friends. C.A.N.N.O.T wait for the weekend! Now I’m going to go outside in the lovely weather and run. I ran for an hour yesterday and I even got a bit of a tan! YEY! Have fun!

Good Morning! How are you guys today? Sorry for my lack of posting yesterday. I was off ill. Feel a lot better today though! Anyways. I thought I would share with you my favorite vintage shop for new collections. I do love Atelier-Mayer, however, they normally only sell pieces that are more than 20 years old. If you feel like buying from the newer collections then Chick & Seek is the place for you!

They have an extensive selection of very good designer goods, from classic Chanel flap bags to Jimmy Choo’s and Christian Louboutin’s! This is a store you want to keep checking in on every day as popular items go extremely quick.

Now who wouldn’t want to go there?!?!

Anyways guys, just a little tip from me to you on a lovely Friday morning! Pssstt….they also do online shopping! Check it out here! Do you guys have any secret spots you would like to share?

Morning! Today I wish I was walking the streets of Italy already. It’s less than a month until I actually will be there! On days like today, when I am exceptionally exhausted, all I dream of is vacation! This week is going to hopefully be extremely quiet. I will enjoy that greatly! This weekend I am going on a step-by-step wedding planning course with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners. I want to own my own business after university and I think wedding planning is what I would like to do! Have a lovely Monday everybody!

Also. Click on the photo to get to the items. I am seriously considering buying the Grecian dress. Do you think I should?

Boutique Profile – Atelier Mayer

Atelier-Mayer, Cocomaya, Designer, Fashion, London, Online Shopping, Porchester Place, Shopping, Shopping London, The Dresser, Vintage, Vintage Shopping

I’m not sure if i have told you that I am going to the Cambridge Ball at the 19th of June, but I am! Therefore I was in desperate need of a gorgeous summer maxi dress and I found the perfect one at Atelier Mayer. Ever since, I think this has been my favorite vintage boutique in London.

Firstly, because they provide excellent service and the staff is so helpful and lovely (far, far above average of any boutique I have ever been to!). Secondly, they have a very refined selection of leather goods, shoes and dresses and I can assure you that if you, like me, buy a dress to go to a ball, nobody will have the same as you! This is my dream dress, but the price tag of £2 400 is too steep….

However, not all the dresses come with a ludicrous price tag. You may also find more reasonable one, such as mine which I bought for £330! Atelier-Mayer also has an the possibility of online shopping, however, I would not recommend this as the sizes vary very much. My dress was originally a size 10, however, their fantastic seamstress was able to tailor it to perfectly fit me!

So, whenever you are in London you should definitely pop by! While you are at it, you can have a look at The Dresser and eat at Cocomaya because it all lies on the same street. The. Perfect. Street. In. London! Have fun!

Boutique Profile – The Dresser

Many of you have been loving my purple Christian Dior wedges from this shoot. Therefore I thought I would share with you the boutique from which they were bought for a steal of £95. The boutique is called The Dresser and it offers a wide selection of brands including; Acne, Burberry, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Gucci, Dior and many more! Its location is near Marble Arch on Porchester Place which is opposite Cocomaya. Therefore, in my opinion, the perfect day is to shop at The Dresser and then go for a chocolaty treat at Cocomaya.

For those of you who do not live in London. Don’t worry, it has a website for online shopping accessible here. What is your favourite website for online shopping? Want to share? Have a lovely day everybody!

New York Miniguide!

22 Thursday Mar 2012

Hello everyone! Here is my New York Miniguide! When reading this please bear in mind that it was my first time in New York so I may not have discovered all the hidden spots just yet, but here’s a couple of things I would definitely recommend to those who are visiting for the first time! Happy reading!

Places to Stay

Hudson Hotel

We stayed at Hudson Hotel located in midtown, just steps from Central Park, Columbus Circle and the theatre district. Hudson is a brilliant reflection of the boldness and diversity of the city; it is stylish, young and contemporary. When you enter through the main doors, there is a luminous glass tunnel housing an escalator that transports you – literally – into a dreamy world! I would by all means recommend this hotel, it has a great location, service and is stylishly quirky!

Places to Eat

Lombardi’s

Lombardi’s offers amazing thin crust pizza’s for a cheap buck in Little Italy! I would give you one warning though, the portions are huge, definitely american size. You may easily share one large pizza between two. Besides that it is great value for money, swift service and overall a great meal!

Épicerie Boulud

Epicerie Boulud is a eat-in and take-out market place located at the southeast corner of Broadway and 64th Street, only minutes away from Hudson Hotel! This fabulous little space offers soups, salads, made to order sandwiches, breads, pastries and more. It is also the only place in New York I found Elderflower pressé, which I am madly addicted to. I definitely recommend having a quick lunch here and then visit one of the Century 21 branches which is located nearby!

Jean Georges

Jean Georges, the restaurant named after the extraordinary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, is one of New York`s finest with 3 Michelin stars. Prepare to be open-mouthed whenever you’re not chewing as nothing you encounter will fail to awe from the simplest to the most complex dishes! However, be aware with great quality also comes a great price, so this restaurant is better intended for great occasions (such as after completing the New York Half Marathon).

Places to Shop

Centrury 21

Century 21 has two fantastic warehouses filled with brands for less! However, be aware that this is a time consuming shopping spot, it’s like a zoo for clothes, you need to look through a lot to find some hidden treasures! Good luck!

What Goes Around Comes Around

What Comes Around Goes Around offers a very refined selection of great pieces! Even though it offers Vintage (which some of you may read as “second-hand” or cheaper than usual) it is not inexpensive. This is a high-end boutique with many hidden treasures, however, be prepared to pay for the fine materials and sequins.

Saks Fifth Avenue

Saks Fifth Avenue is a world-famous department store filled with fantastic designers and limited editions, often only limited to Saks. This is a “must-see” in New York even if you are not interested in buying anything!

Things to Do

Classic Tourist Attractions

This is obviously boring news for all New Yorkers, however, for us mere mortals who do not live in this gorgeous city visiting the Stature of Liberty, Ellis Island, Empire State, The United Nations Building and much more is a must! These are taken from my visit to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, you may find photos of the other attractions here.

Madison Square Garden

I went to a boxing match, but the possibilities are endless for entertainment at Madison Square Garden.

I hope you have enjoyed my New York Miniguide and that you will find this useful if you go to New York in the future. Have a fantastic trip!
