G’Morning! How are you? I thought I would tell you a bit more about the musical I went to last week….

Last thursday I kicked off my whole easter vacation by going to The Rock of Ages Musical. I am definitely not the typical rock chic so I had no idea what to expect. Judging by the name I logically thought it would summarize the greatest rock hits of ages without having a specific storyline. However, this musical ended up being the best one I have seen so far!

It has great singing, good humour and a very high entertainment factor! However, be aware, some of the humour and dancing is a bit on the sexual side so you might not want to bring your very young kids to this. However, I reckon teenage boys would love it! So give them a break for a night and take them out!

Now, since I knew nothing about the storyline beforehand and was blown away I suggest you do the same! Therefore I am not going to reveal anything except that there is love, drama and much much more! For more information and booking tickets click here. Enjoy your evening!

What are you evening plans? Fancy watching a film? If you do then I would like to share with you one my favourites: Catch Me If You Can! The movie is a 2002 American Biographical Drama film based on the life of Frank Abignale Jr., who successfully performed cons worth millions of dollars before his 19th birthday! Personally, I am not pro conners in anyway, but I must say, that is impressive!

He managed to get away with it by posing as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a Georgia doctor, and a Louisiana parish prosecutor. His primary crime was check fraud and he become so skillful that the FBI turned to him to help in catching other check forgers!

{Mr Abignale cleverly using the ladies to distract the police}

The film is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Abignale and Tom Hanks as Hanratty (the policeman who eventually catches him). On top of this it includes one of my favourite all time songs: Frank Sinatra – Come Fly With Me! Enjoy the film everybody! I am going out for dinner and then I am going to watch The Rock of Ages Musical! Have a great evening!

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I went to Singin’ in the rain the Musical at the Palace Theatre in London. This is a lovely and funny musical filled with happy songs and great dancing! I especially loved this dancing sequence…

I would advice you to get front row seats, because they will splash water on you during the show! For those of you who love romance (I know we all do!) there is also love…

{Adam Cooper as Don Lockwood & Scarlett Strallen as Kathy Selden}

And much much more! So pack your bags and head to London! For those of you who don’t know the storyline, here’s a short summary…..

Don Lockwood is a popular silent film star who can barely tolerate his shallow leading lady Lina Lamont. Despite this, their studio Monumental Pictures, links them romantically to increase their popularity. Lina herself is convinced they are in love!

{Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont}

One evening Don meets Kathy Selden who claims to be a stage actress and sneers at undignified accomplishments. She pretends to not know who he is, but later in the musical, she admits that she has known who he is all along. Later, at a party, Selden is at the stage as one of amusement dancers and is very embarrased when she sees Don. Furious at Don’s teasing she throws a cake at him and runs away! After weeks of searching Don finally finds her again and they begin to fall in love. Monumental studios then decides to make talking pictures, however, Lina Lamont has such a horrible voice it needs be replaced by someone. That someone will later become Kathy Selden. I don’t want to reveal everything, but obviously this leads to drama with a very happy ending! Have a good day everybody!
