Good Morning! How are you guys today? Sorry for my lack of posting yesterday. I was off ill. Feel a lot better today though! Anyways. I thought I would share with you my favorite vintage shop for new collections. I do love Atelier-Mayer, however, they normally only sell pieces that are more than 20 years old. If you feel like buying from the newer collections then Chick & Seek is the place for you!
They have an extensive selection of very good designer goods, from classic Chanel flap bags to Jimmy Choo’s and Christian Louboutin’s! This is a store you want to keep checking in on every day as popular items go extremely quick.
Now who wouldn’t want to go there?!?!
Anyways guys, just a little tip from me to you on a lovely Friday morning! Pssstt….they also do online shopping! Check it out here! Do you guys have any secret spots you would like to share?

I’m not sure if i have told you that I am going to the Cambridge Ball at the 19th of June, but I am! Therefore I was in desperate need of a gorgeous summer maxi dress and I found the perfect one at Atelier Mayer. Ever since, I think this has been my favorite vintage boutique in London.
Firstly, because they provide excellent service and the staff is so helpful and lovely (far, far above average of any boutique I have ever been to!). Secondly, they have a very refined selection of leather goods, shoes and dresses and I can assure you that if you, like me, buy a dress to go to a ball, nobody will have the same as you! This is my dream dress, but the price tag of £2 400 is too steep….
However, not all the dresses come with a ludicrous price tag. You may also find more reasonable one, such as mine which I bought for £330! Atelier-Mayer also has an the possibility of online shopping, however, I would not recommend this as the sizes vary very much. My dress was originally a size 10, however, their fantastic seamstress was able to tailor it to perfectly fit me!
So, whenever you are in London you should definitely pop by! While you are at it, you can have a look at The Dresser and eat at Cocomaya because it all lies on the same street. The. Perfect. Street. In. London! Have fun!

On Saturday I went to Portobello Road Market which was absolutely fantastic, as always. If you come to London you must (!!) visit this charming market. Also, the weather is completely crazy here in England these days, two weeks ago I could be wearing shorts, now on the other hand, i’m about to bring out my winter coat! Here is a peek of saturday afternoon…
{Wonderful Bread and Pie Selection}
{My Favourite Pinko Leather Jacket}
This week I have absolutely nothing planned except that Nigel is whisking me away this weekend (!!). He still has not told me where we are going and he is as stubborn as me so I don’t think I will know until we are there. Oh Well! I do love suprises! What are you doing? Anything fun?

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I went to Singin’ in the rain the Musical at the Palace Theatre in London. This is a lovely and funny musical filled with happy songs and great dancing! I especially loved this dancing sequence…
I would advice you to get front row seats, because they will splash water on you during the show! For those of you who love romance (I know we all do!) there is also love…
{Adam Cooper as Don Lockwood & Scarlett Strallen as Kathy Selden}
And much much more! So pack your bags and head to London! For those of you who don’t know the storyline, here’s a short summary…..
Don Lockwood is a popular silent film star who can barely tolerate his shallow leading lady Lina Lamont. Despite this, their studio Monumental Pictures, links them romantically to increase their popularity. Lina herself is convinced they are in love!
{Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont}
One evening Don meets Kathy Selden who claims to be a stage actress and sneers at undignified accomplishments. She pretends to not know who he is, but later in the musical, she admits that she has known who he is all along. Later, at a party, Selden is at the stage as one of amusement dancers and is very embarrased when she sees Don. Furious at Don’s teasing she throws a cake at him and runs away! After weeks of searching Don finally finds her again and they begin to fall in love. Monumental studios then decides to make talking pictures, however, Lina Lamont has such a horrible voice it needs be replaced by someone. That someone will later become Kathy Selden. I don’t want to reveal everything, but obviously this leads to drama with a very happy ending! Have a good day everybody!

Good Morning! Has everyone collected their free latte from Starbucks yet? You can go into any Starbucks chain and they will give you a free latte today before midday! How good is that?! I am going to go and get mine soon! For sure! So what are you up to today? Anything good? Me?…..Oh you are too kind to ask! I am going to watch the film This Means War! Very excited! I especially love the “salmon comment” at the end of the trailer! Makes me happy! Yesterday was spent having dinner with a friend at Zizzi’s. I am not normally a fan of restaurant chains as I find they tend to become rather boring, however, I think Zizzi’s is an exception to the rule, and plus it does italian which is my favourite! Additionally, it is very good value with the tastecard! Happy eating!

Boyd’s Brasserie Bar and Lounge was the gorgeous tapas place I went to on saturday evening. The restaurant is ideally located in the centre of London at Trafalgar Square (close to Charing Cross and Leicester Square tube station). The kitchen offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, drinks and dinner. I would say that is a rather wide selection! To make a reservation click here. Enjoy your meal!

….sounds familar? Yes, You’re right, that is the sound of the Cell Block Tango from Chicago! That song, among many others, were performed last Saturday when I visited the Garrick Theatre to see the show in London! It was brilliant! Fun, Sexy, Flirty….everything you would like from an evening of entertainment! For those of you who are new to Chicago, the storyline follows….
Roxie Hart who is in prison for murdering her lover and trying to blame her hopeless husband! Here she meets Velma Kelly, a headline star and a murderess. The two characters team up to form a nightclub act, which will hopefully keep them in the public eye. Desperate for fame and fortune the women enlist the help of sleazy lawyer Billy Flynn. Both women will be hanged for their crimes if they lose their cases and are prepared to go any lengths to escape execution…..
For more information and tickets vist here. Have a great evening!

These are some snapshots taken from my wonderful London room! For those of you are new to my life I am currently living in Bayswater London, very close to Lancaster Gate tube Station and Hyde Park. A very good location! I am here in London for the next 6 months working for the consultancy firm IMS Health. Then I will go to Tokyo on exchange in the fall and complete my final spring semester in Bath! And after that, as scary as it may sound, I will have a degree and not a clue what to do with it! Oh well. I’m sure I will figure it out! Now, back to the room! I love shoes, shoes, shoes and flowers!
Hope you like it!
