As you probably know by now I’m heading towards Italy, one of my favourite vacation spots by far. I L.O.V.E Italy mainly for it’s fantastic food & ice cream, small lovely villages, the fantastic shopping in the larger cities, the language, the friendly people & the warm weather. Simple as! Now all I’d like to know from you is: What is your favourite vacation spot and why?
Make sure that you include your email in the comment if you are commenting without a wordpress account! I’ll pick the winner when I have returned from Italy! G.O.O.D L.U.C.K!

Definitely Mazatlan, Mexico. It’s a city next to the beach– there’s a main strip of expensive hotels/beach houses and tourist attractions along the coast line (lots of FUN dance clubs!!), but once you go further into the “main” area it’s very humbling. The city has a lot of culture and history, and most of the city lives in poverty. It’s rich in its roots, and the theater is amazing! Plus the food is all authentic & delicious Mexican food. The shopping is very interesting too; there are the higher end stores and then there are the markets full of fabrics and really interesting things you can’t find anywhere else. Not to mention, my mom grew up there and my family still lives there. We visit every once in awhile. I simply love the beach too, it’s my favorite place to be.
I agree with you Mazatlan,Mexico is amazing the food omg. good luck!
I’m glad you agree, it really is amazing! And thank you 🙂
Presently, my favorite vacation spot is Singapore. Yes, it’s more like China except people are friendly, the city is clean and beautiful. Not to mention good friends are in that city so every visit in Singapore is a blast.
I do not know if the place you have not been to (yet) counts but with the looks of it I am quite sure our Maldives trip will change my mind. With the amazing scenery, the beach…In less than 4 weeks we will be in Maldives and I guess it will be my favorite place, Singapore will be the 2nd.
ENJOY YOUR STAY IN ITALY! 😉
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! Nice shoes, but I don’t think they’ll fit eh? Have an awesome trip!
St. George Island, Florida. It’s a couple hours south of Tampa. The beaches are beautiful and quiet (no worries about big crowds). You can swim with dolphins and collect sea shells. It’s just gorgeous!
Followed closely by Washington state. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and fell in love. Seattle is charming and has a small town feel. The glaciers, volcanos, the ocean, so much stunning beauty to see. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Haha I am probably going to look like a lame-o compared to everyone else & their responses, but my favorite vacation spot definitely has to be Maine, in the USA. =D While it doesn’t often grace the “Best Places to Travel” features in Travel books & broadcasts, it just elicits this little charm that is so endearing. The locals are friendly, grounded, & down-to-earth, the weather is very amicable in the summer (whenever I go, at least), the beaches are beautiful and serene, & it has a wide array of unique & charming shops that contain really cool little trinkets. It just simply adore it, I feel in my most peaceful state of mind when I am in Maine. And it is for this reason, I am hoping to go again for this summer. =)
By the way, I adore the pumps! I wish I could fit in a size four in shoes! Ha ha! May you have safe travels to Italy! =D
Well by far my favorite vacation spot is Jamaica! First time I went my boyfreind took me and I was only going to be there 2 weeks. However I ended up staying there 6 months! Currently it’s my destination spot every 3 to 4 months. I absolutely love the beaches, Aqua Sol is by far my favorite. I love the atmosphere, freindly people and the food, well let’s just say I’m currently on a healthier lifestyle change 🙂 I have traveled to many other places but hands-down Jamaica Rocks!
The best place I’ve ever been to on vacation was Paris. The food was delicious. The architecture was so beautiful. And it couldn’t have been any more perfect and romantic for our honeymoon destination.
I haven’t been many places but so far it would be kauai!

Hi Allan! Thank you very much!! Hope you have a lovely week and I’ll be sure to keep it up! X
I would say Italy, the food, wine, culture, architectural, people, fashion, I can go on and on, were all amazing, I hope to go back one day.
Lucky you, and enjoy your trip!
The best place I’ve vacationed was Jamaica. My fiancé and I went with his family this past Christmas, his parents renewed their vows. It was the first time my fiancé and myself had ever travelled outside of Canada together and we had an amazing time. The people are so friendly, the food was great and the scenery is amazing. I’d give anything to be soaking up the sun on a beah there now!enjoy your vacation 🙂

I would have to say my father’s hometown http://www.zamboangadelsur.com/pitogo. Our ancestral house is just about a kilometre from the beach. My brother and I used to sneak out after school and go swimming and we would come home ready for our mom’s reprimands, giggling all the while. On weekends my late grandfather would take us on long walks around his property where the land was all mud and sticky (like chocolate). He would carry us on his back on the way home because our little feet couldn’t take the strain. Sometimes our slippers would break sticking on the mud. It is the best vacation spot because other than the beach and the mountains are beautiful, everywhere I look I see my father and grandfather in their prime. And it always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling that I somehow belong in this great big world.

The last trip I took was to New York City and I would have to say that it has been a favorite of mine. I loved everything about it.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful Italy trip with us!
Your lovely shoes won’t fit me, but would make a wonderful new still life “model”. 🙂
